Do we really need a TechTV 2.0?
The Revision 3 family has just gotten a little bit bigger as blogger extraordinaire Robert Scoble is planning to start a show on the Revision 3 network. I have heard some buzz to the extent that this means Revision 3 is truly the next TechTV many have been seeking. Some seem to see this as a call for Leo to join his network with Rev3 or else be left behind, But do we really need more consolidation? What Leo is doing at TWiT.TV is so completely and fundamentally different from the direction that Rev3 is taking, that it seems ridiculous to call for a single “TechTV 2.0”. Would you call for Apple and Linux to join just because they’re both vaguely similar and interesting OS’s?
